About

PROJECT:
The robots that got away
CLIENT:

Trainline + Revolut + ???
ROLE:

Creative Concepting
MISSION:
Keep the dream alive.
I think it’s important to have a creative calling card.
In my case, it’s pitching ideas involving giant robots.
They tend to be liked, but then inevitably pulled for reasons like “budget” and “brand identity”.

How boring.

Anyway, here’s a few. Two made it through multiple rounds of feedback.
One got laughed out of the room.

TRAINLINE PRIME
For Trainline’s I came by train campaign, we wanted to acknowledge the patrons of King’s Cross for choosing greener transit...

...With a giant time-travelling robot bursting through the ground, thanking us for letting him exist.
After all, there is no future without sustainable travel.

REV0LUT-R0N
Revolut wanted their presence felt at Hungary’s Sziget festival, but how do you sell a peer-to-peer finance platform to a bunch of Aussies getting mashed up in the sun?

Enter REV0LUT-R0N, the Beer-2-Peer robot.
Armed with shoulder-mounted beer kegs, the Beer-2-Peer robot’s sole purpose was to blast streams of ice-cold beer into the mouths of Sziget’s thirsty revellers.

It might not be fully representative of Revolut’s benefits, but it’s silly and memorable which is mostly what counts during festival season.
RIP Ron

MECHA-DUNKZILLA: TOP SECRET
Can’t talk about this one, the wider project is still underway.
It’s super cool and should’ve been greenlit.
